Children Killed
A total of 54 children have been killed in the year 2001 as a direct result of Israeli military and settler presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territories . In addition, one baby died in its mother's womb and one baby died after being born at an Israeli checkpoint. Of the total 54 children killed, there were 41 students, 4 working children, 2 unemployed children, 1 housewife, and 6 children under the age of four.
