On 15 September the Special Representtaive of the Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict (SRSG) will present her Annual Report on Children and Armed Conflict to the Human Rights Council. A meeting with NGOs is scheduled for the following day to discuss the main findings of the report and as an opportunity to ask questions to the SRSG, particularly on the new UN Security Council Resolution 1882.

In the SRSG’s report, specific mentions are made to the deliberate targeting of schools during Operation Cast Lead and the impact of terrorism and counter terrorism on Palestinian children.
