Additional Information At around 08:30 on 8 November 2006, Israeli Special Forces occupied a house near 'Izbeit Abed Ra'bo, near Beit Hanoun, and opened fire towards a group of people, some of whom were carrying guns. Nimmer Mohammed Nadia, 16 years old, tried to salvage the gun of one of the wounded men when Israeli special forces shot him in the head and chest. He died shortly afterwards. Eye witnesses confirm that Nimmer Mohammed Nadia was not involved in combatant activity.

Additional Information According to eye witness accounts given to DCI/PS, at around 05:30 on 8 November 2006, Israeli forces, positioned to the east and north of Beit Hanoun, fired around 7 artillery shells towards a residential area in the north east of the town. A number of these shells hit three apartment buildings, one of which belonged to the al Athamna family, located in Hamad Street, near Ajamia mosque. The shelling lasted for approximately 3 minutes and killed 18 people, including 7 children:
